Piccolo G trumpet with F-set, 4 perinet valves

Piccolo G trumpet with F-set, 4 perinet valves

Piccolo G-Trompete mit F-Set, 4 Perinetventile

Special features of the instrument:
Trigger at the 1st and 4th slide. The short 4th slide is suitable for auxiliary chords.
The medium pitch G/F is for a lower and fuller piccolo sound and a darker timbre. For the F pitch, bell and mouthpipe must be exchanged. The instrument is designed as a link between Piccolo and E flat trumpet.

Annotation:
This Piccolo continues the evolution which began with the B/A-Piccolo. Its sound even more resembles the “big” trumpets. Played in an orchestra with a mute, it can hardly be distinguished from a trumpet at a lower pitch.
This Piccolo is a beneficial supplement for players who appreciate the feeling of a “big” trumpet on a Piccolo. Similar to the B/A-Piccolo, it has a very easy response.
Its response is in no way inferior to that of other Piccolo trumpets.
