Aida trumpets

Aida trumpets

Aida-Trompete

Special features of the instrument:
Long trumpets with 1 valve in A flat and B required for the opera “Aida” by Verdi. These instruments were designed for the Hamburg State Opera, and they are also used in Switzerland, Amsterdam, Berlin and Dresden. Another custom design is the additional C-valve part with 3 valves for the “Königstrumpetn” in the opera “Lohengrin”.

Annotation:
We designed these trumpets for a production of the Hamburg Opera. In order to play “Aida”, the instruments are only needed in the 1 valve version. Nevertheless, we equipped the trumpets with an additional machine so that they can all be tuned to C in order to use them for other stage music pieces.
Visually, they are very impressive and thanks to their long construction, their sound is extremely brilliant.
